Shipping During the COVID-19 Outbreak
To encourage online shopping, we are offering free shipping on (almost) everything. This excludes oversized items such as printers, Savage paper rolls, large tripods, etc. and packages being delivered to remote locations.
For customers who wish to pick up their orders from the store, we also offer a curbside pickup option. Select this option during checkout, we will email you when your order is ready for pickup. Once you arrive at the store, please call our main line at (403) 234-9935 and indicate that you are picking up an online order. Our staff will then verify your purchase with you and bring your new gear directly to your vehicle.
Standard sized purchases over $99 are shipped free to most* Canada Post Expedited destinations.
Standard sized shipments under $99 are $10.00 for most* Canada Post Expedited destinations.
* If you live somewhere far, far away, or are ordering something very bulky, you will be contacted prior to processing your order to discuss any shipping costs.
Oversize and/or heavy items such as backpacks, printers, large lenses, studio backdrops, lighting kits, etc. and hazardous goods such as chemicals are charged according to weight & distance and do not qualify for free shipping. If your order requires any change in shipping costs, we will contact you to confirm the charge and complete your order.
Same Day Shipping for Calgary Residents
We offer same day shipping to residents of Calgary, Alberta for all in-stock, standard orders. As with our other shipping methods, oversized and/or heavy items may be subject to addition shipping charges and we will contact you to confirm the charge and complete your order. Orders must be placed before 12:00PM on a regular weekday using either Paypal or a credit card that participates in either the Verified by Visa or Mastercard Securecode programs. The order may only be shipped to credit card holder's billing address. Please note that you must create an account with your Calgary shipping/billing address before you place the order to be able to select this shipping option.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can my order be shipped with a different courier?
A: Yes. Shipping via alternate couriers is available. e.g. FedEx, Purolator, etc. Please contact us to discuss shipping rates if you wish to use a method other than Canada Post Expedited. At this time we cannot ship via Greyhound.
Q: If I order today, when can I expect to receive my order?
A: When you receive your order depends on the availability of the product, the shipping method, and your location. If orders are placed before 11:00AM MST we typically can ship the same day or the next day for in-stock items. An email is sent after your order has been processed letting your know when your order will be shipped out.
During the Christmas season the usual cut off time for same day shipping is approx 10:00AM MST. If you are in a rush, please contact us at 1-888-539-9397. Otherwise your order will be shipped out on the following business day. The Online Sales department is closed on weekends and holidays so all orders will be shipped out the next business day. Delivery to major Canadian cities is typically two business days or less. Rural delivery can be 4-5 business days.
Q: Can you rush my order?
A: Yes we can, but at an additional charge. Please contact us to discuss.
Q: If I order more than one product, do I have to pay for shipping on each of the items?
A: We charge shipping on a per package basis. As long as we can ship your order in one package the normal fee (either free, standard or oversize shipping) will apply.
For backordered items you have the option to wait and ship your order together or we can split the shipment in which case an extra shipping fee may apply.
Q: Can I order a product and have it shipped to an address other than my credit cards billing address?
A: Yes, as long as you select PayPal as your secure payment method. The shipping address must be in the same province as your credit card's billing address.
Q: Do you ship to countries other than Canada?
A: No, we only deliver physical products to Canada.
Q: Can I order a product online and pick it up in store?
A: Yes, as long as the credit card holder is picking up the product and the secure payment method is not PayPal.
