- Backgrounds, light modifiers, meters, and props.
- Classic portraiture.
- Posing people individually and in groups.
- Window lighting, one-light setup, two-light setup.
- How to handle outdoor lighting with reflectors, speedlights or portable studio strobes.

The workshop will be split into 3 parts:
- A four hour discussion of all the topics listed above.
- Free time to shoot using these lighting and posing techniques in setups provided.
- Each participant will hand in 2 images created above to be projected for critique.
• Much can be learned by reviewing your images and and also images from the others in the group.

About Peter Gold:
Master Photographer Peter Gold has created award-winning portrait, wedding and commercial photography since 1972 when he established Gold Photography in Alberta.
He is an accredited Master of Photographic Arts through the Professional Photographers of Canada, a recipient of two Kodak Gallery Awards and a Fuji Wedding Award, a recipient of both a PPOC - Alberta Citation Award and a National Citation Award, a past exhibitor of portrait photography at the Glenbow Museum in Calgary and at EPCOT Centre at Disney World, an instructor of portrait and wedding workshops internationally and a judge for professional photography competitions internationally.
