Join Jim Slobodian for a 3-Part introductory overview of Lightroom 3. This is a basic seminar style series will give you the opportunity to follow along with your own personal laptop. The Instructor will cover the basics of this incredible program so that you will be well on your way to organizing and editing your photo collections. Here is a breakdown of what will be covered in each class:
Class 1:
In this class we will start at the very beginning – importing your photographs. We then discuss and see why key-wording, cataloging and metadata is important not only for Lightroom, but for other applications too. Jim will also discuss the advantages and potential problems that may occur with catalogs and external storage of your Lightroom library.
Class 2:
The second class is entirely dedicated to the ‘Develop Module’ of Lightroom. In this section, all of Lightroom’s developing tools including overlay, cloning and the histogram will be discussed and demonstrated.
Class 3:
The third and final class is all about having a little fun with your images. The Slideshow, Print and Web sections will be demonstrated and broken down. Through these 3 sections, you will learn how to rate your images, create fun slideshows for home or for presentations as well as how to create your very own website!
