2010 Digital Photo Expo

The third annual Digital Photo Expo will take place the the Ramada Hotel in the heart of Downtown Calgary. This series of educational seminars, will give you the opportunity to learn from the pros in classroom settings.
Kick off the 2010 Digital Expo with National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore. Sartore has spent the last two decades roaming the globe for the yellow boarder magazine focusing his lens on conservation issues from the Amazon basin to the Great Plains of North America. He has worked on projects featuring endangered species to saving native prairie grasslands. Come along for the ride with Joel's wonderful sense of humor as he takes us on a journey exploring important environmental issues, and a backseat look into what it's like to be a National Geographic photographer. This Key Note Presentation will cost $30 in advance or $35 at the door and will include a book signing after his presentation.
Throughout the weekend we are offering seminars on a wide range of topics suitable for photographers of all levels. Topics will include fashion, sports, journalism, stock, wedding, nature, video, studio, travel, printing and more. Most of the seminar tickets will be redeemable for $20 off a select product from The Camera Store.
The Camera Store will be open all weekend including Sunday from 12PM-5PM to offer you show specials and demonstrations. A shuttle bus will be available to transport you between the Ramada Hotel and The Camera Store, so that you will be able to take in as many seminars as possible, as well as take advantage of in-store specials.
To wrap up the weekend Canadian photographer and author Dr. Wayne Lynch will be giving a special presentation called The Pursuit of Nature - A Life Worth Living. Discover the challenges he faced, the adventures, the laughter and the rewards of a lifetime with nature. This presentation will cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door and will also include a book signing.
