John has photographed coast to coast across Canada, from humpback whales to hairy woodpeckers, and is one of the few full-time wildlife photographers represented by Getty Images and All Canada Photos. He is a recent winner of the prestigious Canadian Geographic Wildlife Photograph of the Year award, and is the author-photographer of the Canadian best-selling coffee table book, Wildlife of the Canadian Rockies: A Glimpse at Life on the Wild Side.
