Shipping Rates
How much is Shipping?
Standard sized shipments are $10.00 for most* Canada Express Post destinations.
Standard sized purchases over $500 are shipped free to most* Canada Express Post destinations.
Standard sized shipments to the USA are $25.00
* If you live somewhere far, far away, you will be contacted prior to processing your order to discuss any shipping costs. Your order will be cancelled without penalty should you decline the shipping charges.
What about oversize items?
Oversize and/or Heavy items such as backpacks, printers, tripods, large lenses, studio backdrops, lighting kits, etc are charged according to weight & distance and do not qualify for free shipping.
If your order requires any change in shipping costs, a Camera Store representative will contact you to confirm this and complete your order. Please monitor your email after placing your order as we will contact you in that fashion to discuss any shipping cost changes with you. We use email rather than telephone as we require shipping charge approvals to be in writing for our and your protection.
Can my order be shipped with another courier?
Yes. Shipping via alternate couriers is available. e.g. FedEx, Purolator, etc. Please contact a sales associate to discuss shipping rates if you wish to use a method other than Canada Post XPress Post.
At this time we do not ship via Greyhound.
If I order today, when can I expect to receive my order?
When you receive your order depends on the availability of the product, the shipping method and payment type. Orders by previous customers are often shipped the same business day, as are clients that are part of the Verified by Visa program. MasterCard and standard Visa can take up to 2-3 business days for verification.
Can you rush my order?
Yes and no. We can ship order via Air mail, however, there will be a significant increase in the shipping cost which we will contact you to discuss. Please keep in mind, if you are having your order shipped to a location that is not near an International airport, rush shipping will take 2-3 business days. Please contact us for further information if you wish to expedite shipping of your order.
If I order more than one product, do I have to pay for shipping on each of the items?
We calculate shipping and handling costs by shipment. If one of your items happens to be backordered at the time of your order, you will have the choice to wait and receive all of your items in one shipment, or split your order into multiple shipments. Extra shipping may be applicable, depending on the size of the items.
Can I order a product and ask you to ship it to someone else?
New customer orders will only be shipped to the billing address of the credit card. First-time clients cannot have their order shipped to an alternate address.
Established clients who have a purchase history with us can choose an alternate shipping address, such as a work address or vacation address. For your protection, credit card orders shipping to an address other than the credit card billing address will be subject to a fraud screening process and as a result may cause a delay in the shipment of your order. In order to avoid delays, you must first call your credit card company and add the alternative address to your account file so we are able to call and verify it. If you do not add the alternate address to your credit card account, we cannot verify it, and your order will be held until verification is complete. We will not ship to a third-party. The package must still ship to the name as it appears on the paying credit card. Please note that orders that fail our screening process may be canceled.
Do you ship to countries other than Canada?
We only ship to Canada and the USA.
Please note - Not all products are available for shipment to the US. We do not ship serialized Nikon products outside Canada.
We do not ship any chemicals or liquids across the border.
