Then there are the shooting modes! From Bulb to Indoor, Double Exposure to Sports, there are five shooting modes to choose from, and they’re easy to switch between, just twist the dial! The Instax Mini 999 also offers five levels of brightness.
To turn on this retro-inspired camera, simply turn the lens dial. Turn the dial to ‘3.0m to ∞’ for Landscape mode, ideal for distances, ‘0.3m to 0.6m’ for Macro mode, perfect for close-ups and selfies, or ‘0.6m to 3.0m’ for Standard mode for everything in between. Want to deepen the look? Use the Manual Vignette Switch to narrow the lens aperture for a powerful artistic look. Want to alter the tone? Take control of the flash function to match the look you envisage. As well, the Instax Mini 99 has two identical shutter buttons to help you switch from Portrait to Landscape orientation for those must-have shots.
