Stamps Photographer For the Day Experience
This season we hosted the Stamps Sideline Photographer For a Day Contest. The winner of this contest was given the opportunity to shoot like a pro on the sidelines of a Stampeders Football game. Peter Brown from Living Balance Photography won this opportunity for the game on August 18th. Here is what he had to say about the experience.
"First off I want to thank you for an amazing experience and all the fun toys to play with. The whole thing went by so quickly, a game that was 3 hours long seemed like 20 min when you are on the field trying to follow the action. I have photographed high school football and it's not even close to the same thing, when you are watching a high school game you can follow the plays and see where the ball is going, not with the CFL. On more then one occasion by the time I figured out where the ball was the play was over but the trickiest part was finding a line of sight to get the action shots without to much clutter in view. It took till the second half to really get a hang of it. Being down on the field with all the players, coaches, staff, pro photogs and tv crews everything seems to be going a mile a minute and yet it was an experience I will not soon forget and hope to some how be able to do again."
Thanks Again
