The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers $100 film festival is a distinctly unique event: they only screen works on small-format celluloid film, and that makes them one of only a very small handful of international film festivals doing so. Because they only show short films finished to Super8 or 16mm film, no single work can be longer than 22 minutes.

March 8-10, 2012 (7pm shows) @ ACAD Stanford Perrott Lecture Theatre (1407-14 Ave NW)

Come join the CSIF for three nights of independent filmmaking at its best, and be sure to get all the details from the $100 Film Festival website: 100dollarfilmfestival.org

Tickets are available for purchase at CSIF, Café Koi, and Bogie’s Casablanca in Mission.
