A Solution for Glare on LCD Screens

Shooting outdoors is wonderful, especially when the sun is shining. The ambient light, the natural scenery and the open spaces make for some ideal photo opportunities. Of course there are some challenges when you are dealing with natural sunlight. One common problem of outdoor digital photography is glare that interferes with viewing LCD screens. This makes it difficult to view the histogram or to check composition. Although camera manufacturers are working to create better LCD screens, they still have a long way to go before the issue will be completely resolved. Luckily, I found a solution: a cool gadget called the Hoodman HoodLoupe 3.0.
