Pentax Canada Releases 3 New Compact Cameras

Pentax has proudly released three new Pentax Optio cameras. the Pentax Optio E80, Pentax Optio P80 and the waterproof Pentax Optio WS80.

Pentax Optio E80
This new entry-class model offers a large 2.7 inch colour LCD monitor and simplified operation to enhance image-viewing comfort and operability. The large buttons on the Optio E80 that make operation easy for both seniors and young children.

Pentax Optio P80
  The Optio P80 features a 12.1 megapixel CCD and a wide-angle 4X zoom lens in its stylish, ultra-slim aluminum alloy body.  It has a host of advanced features for the capture of brilliant, sharply focused portraits. The Optio P80 also features 720P video at 30 FPS with a four times optical lens covering 27.5mm to 110mm angle in 35mm terms.

Pentax Optio WS80
The combination of a compact, lightweight body and outstanding waterproof and dustproof capabilities makes the Optio WS80 an ideal companion for wherever life takes you, whether in the water, at the beach, or on the slopes. The Optio WS80 has the longest telephoto lens of any waterproof compact camera at the equivalent of a 175mm on 35mm cameras. The 5X optical zoom covers from 35mm wide angle to the 175mm tele in an ultra compact folded lens design. High definition video can be captured at 30 FPS with a resolution of 1280 by 720 for sharp and smooth video.
