Refund policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase then let us make it right. Whether you need just a little extra advice or you need to return a product we are here to help.

We offer a 14 day return policy on most orders. Returns are not accepted on event and workshop tickets, software, film, batteries, and other consumables. Shipping & Handling charges are not covered by our return policy and will not be refunded. Returns on orders placed using Affirm as a payment method are subject to a 5% processing fee.

Special order items can not be canceled or refunded without our written authorization unless it is found to be defective upon arrival.

The Camera Store’s Guaranteed Holiday Pricing:
The Camera Store’s prices are guaranteed until December 31st, 2023.

If you purchase any product from The Camera Store before December 31st, 2023, and the price decreases, we will refund the difference. Contact us by email at info@thecamerastore.com with your invoice number and details. One of our sales staff will contact you to return the difference to you.

Extended Holiday Return & Exchange Policy:
Our extended return and exchange deadline for the holidays is January 8th, 2024. All other regular policies listed below still apply.

Returns for Online Orders

Prior to returning any item you must contact us at websales@thecamerastore.com for a Return Authorization Number. Orders that are returned without an authorization number will be refused by our shipping department.

When you receive your order, please follow these guidelines:

1. - Upon receipt of your new merchandise, please inspect it carefully as to contents and condition. All claims for items missing or damaged during shipment MUST be reported to The Camera Store within two (2) business days of receipt of merchandise. In the event your package arrives damaged, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the carrier to inspect the package to assure full refund/replacement. All packaging MUST be retained until the problem has been resolved.

2. - Carefully unpack and inspect all merchandise. Please DO NOT damage the manufacturer's packaging. DO NOT fill out the manufacturer's warranty cards until you are absolutely sure you want to keep your merchandise. We cannot accept merchandise for return with completed warranty cards or damaged/missing collateral material. Do not throw away any of the packaging materials such as boxes, instructions, inserts, bags, etc until you are completely sure you want to keep the equipment.

3. - Keep your Invoice with your important records.

4. - Read all instruction manuals BEFORE testing your equipment.

The Camera Store will NOT be responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. Our sole responsibility will only be the monetary value of the merchandise.

Printers Return Policy

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES on any printer in which ink has been installed.

If the printer is defective it may be exchanged for up to 30 days, for the same item, provided that all the original packaging and box contents are included.

UAV and DJI Return Policy

All sales of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles, drones and flying cameras) are FINAL and cannot be returned or exchanged to The Camera Store.

Please note that all DJI products are final sale. There are no returns on DJI items and exchanges will not occur if the unit is DOA. DOA is defined as a brand new unit that will not turn on, or a brand new unit that does function properly. DJI insists on handling all DOA and service issues directly.
