We're offering a hands-on experience for anyone looking to get into assisting photographers and videographers. During the workshop you'll hear from local full-time assistants and key-grips about their work in the industry.
We'll cover what accessories you might need as an assistant, different types of lighting commonly used on set, as well as how to properly pack/unpack specific gear on location. You'll learn terms that are used on set in both the photo and video industry. We will also touch on the job of the "digital tech" for those that are interested in seeing what is expected of this position on set. The workshop will be 6 hours in length and will have lunch provided. Be prepared to physically work with an assorted amount of gear and take notes on the day.
*A huge thank you to Studio 122 for helping us keep the registration fee low by providing the studio space for this workshop.
