Join us for a seminar with award winning Wildlife photographer Joe Desjardins. Joe will cover all the basics to get you on your way to photographing Canadian Wildlife. Techniques that will be discussed include tips on perfecting exposure, focusing, composition and light, filters and finding great locations. Camera equipment will also be discussed. You will leave with a better understanding of camera settings along with some essential tips and tricks on how to capture the diversity of Canadian Wildlife.Who should attend:

Award-winning and nationally published photographer Joe Desjardins has garnered multiple national accreditation via the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). His images span a wide variety of disciplines including equine, landscape, nature, wildlife and more. Joe has also garnered the designation of Master Photographer (MPN) in Nature Photography with MPIO, Masters Photographers International.
Joe has been a wildlife and nature photographer for nearly three decades. His photographic career began while working for a photography studio in Northern Ontario, Canada. Growing up in Northern Ontario afforded him the opportunity to explore nature, making wildlife and nature photography a natural fit.
Today, he works as a photographer out of the Calgary, AB region with his main areas of focus being environmental portraiture, equine, wildlife and landscape photography.
Teaching has also become a large part of his photography life. Joe loves the enthusiasm that the students bring to the classroom both indoors and out.
