Join Jim Slobodian for an introductory overview of Adobe’s Lightroom. This basic lab style class will give you the chance to follow along with your own Lightroom catalog, and will also give you opportunity to optimize your personal Lightroom catalog structure. This class will also cover keywording, collections as well as proper importing techniques.
Other topics will include:
Why your files go ‘missing’, how to find them and keep all the files ‘online’.
How to find your images
How to run your Lightroom library from an external hard drive
Maximizing the organizational potential with Lightroom
How to set up your Lightroom backup
Minor editing techniques
Please note that you MUST have your own laptop with Lightroom 5, 6 or CC installed. The instructor will be working on a Macintosh computer so some of the components may look different on a Windows Machine.
